this is my second time at simmons and i’d go back again. they’re thorough and honest. seems to be more and more rare these days. i like that when they do i diagnosis they include photos, descriptions of their findings and upload to a portal with a link. it’s kinda like going to a doctors office. you can read the mechanic lingo, see the photos for yourself and share the link with a friend or family member who is versed in cars too for advice and opinions. in my most recent case, this time, the repairs on my car out-valued the car itself so i decided not to go forward with the repair. (it happens. the car had a long life with me. a decade+, and had been driven across the country) but telling them ‘no thank you’ was no hassle. no trying to push me into service. i just came and picked up the car. i asked some advice, and they even gave me some opinions on what next steps could be. as i start my car replacement journey id be happy to bring a potential purchase to them for inspection and know that ill get a clear idea of what’s the used car has going on and if the purchase is worth it.
